Because office managers as a whole have never been represented by an organization, they have had little or no resource for help or guidance with their many duties and responsibilities.  They have had no path for professional development and they have had little possibility of professional recognition.  Until now.

Realizing office manager duties differ little from business to business, regardless of the business conducted by their company, Microniche Media organized the first and only membership association serving all office managers  (similar to many other membership organizations serving the needs of a particular profession).

Microniche Media has built a one-stop collection of resources providing office managers with information, tools, training and networking they need to run their office smoothly.  In addition, office managers have opportunities to achieve professional recognition in their field through APOM's upcoming certification program, achievement award program and Office Managers Day®.

  

The Magazine

OfficeOurs® magazine focuses on the issues important to successful office management.  The magazine provides practical insights and innovative solutions that can be easily implemented by office managers. OfficeOurs® magazine is committed to being the leading information resource for office managers.

All issues are delivered online through APOM's website which also provides an online application to find past articles.

The Association of Professional Office Managers promotes excellence in office management and is committed to being the leading information resource for office managers and recognized authority in office management ideas and best practices.  APOM helps office managers face the many diverse challenges of managing an office by providing a central resource for information, tools, networking, training, and recognition.

 

The APOM Foundation
The mission of the APOM Foundation is to:

  • guide fundraising efforts of APOM member offices and channel funds raised each year to a selected charity,
  • fund operation of educational services that advance the area of office management,
  • underwrite scientific studies to research and analyze various issues regarding office products and services and office management best practices, and
  • finance publication and distribution of office management news and information.
